Religious and architectural heritage

There is a great wealth of religious and architectural heritage in Hautes Vosges d’Alsace. Chapels, sanctuaries or large religious buildings add to the region's attractions. Famous tympana, bells, and organs attract crowds of visitors. The town centres are also charming, as are the ruins of the various châteaux whose ancient profiles rise from impressive promontories.
